The right fit is important. Thus before scheduling a first session, we will connect by phone to discuss whether we will be a good fit moving forward, and I will answer any questions you might have.
Please leave your contact information in the Contact Form and indicate the best time to reach you. I will reply by phone.
Insurance
Please note that my office would be considered an out-of-network provider. I do not have an agreement with any insurance plan therefore all professional services are rendered and charged directly to you.
I am happy to provide you with a monthly statement of services (superbill), which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement if you so choose. It is, however, your responsibility to verify the specifics of your coverage. Please check with your insurance by giving the customer service number (on the back of your insurance card) a call and ask about your possible out-of-network mental health benefits.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include out-of-network mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
I like to make clients aware that going through insurance requires a mental health diagnosis which will be permanent in your medical records and may be shared with third parties such as other insurance companies.

No Surprises Act
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
Please contact me for any additional questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
